Covid heroes

During the first confinement in France in March 2020 I started painting portraits of the people who were still working and saving lives, or simply providing essential services, expressing my gratitude and respect, but also questioning myself on how "unessential" artists were considered. This series was exhibited at the Villa Noailles in the summer 2020.
